Good luck trying to set up this blog. Comments so far: a) Don't add stat growth in the hero page, it creates additional work. No one uses figures to calculate damage HP etc. Save it for future when you create hero comparison. b) Under "How to obtain", instead of calendar, how about change it which month it was introduce. c) Don't try to write guide, too much work and it doesn't suit everyone. So far the description for boss is fine, better if the skill image is attach in. d) Have both new and old image. Use roll over method. Maybe applies it to awaken and not awaken heroes as well? Look forward to your next big update and try not to copy too much from China web.
@KUU Thank you for your feedback. We are currently focusing on heroes and item. Most likely we are able to complete all the neccessary stuff before October. Kindly look forward to it!
Hi, I'm PGDesolator one of the admins from the subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/dot_arena/. I was thinking of creating a Wiki for the game till I found out that you guys are managing this. I was wondering how many people are involved in managing this Website. The reason I ask is that I wanted to create a Wiki for DotArena on gamepedia, the same website that is managing DOTA 2 wiki. My reason for Wiki is that you can add contributors so it is easy for everyone to add content. Still I wanted to approach you guys first since you are already managing this wonderful Website.

Currently there are only 2 people working on this site, so the progress is rather slow even though we try our best to update every week. Some stuff might be left out due to the lack of manpower, we would like to have more contributors. Yet this is a blog site, where lots of other classified stuff are publicly shared once permission is granted. We are afraid that even if one of the authors decided to play punk, everything in this site would be gone in an instant.
Our goal is the same, to provide players with the most updated stuff in Dot Arena as the official site is always not doing their job.
Oh well, if you have any idea on how to collaborate without us having to change sites at the moment (due to the large amount of files stored here), you are actually welcome to help.
For someone reason I didn't get any notification of your reply or I would had replied sooner. Anyway, my request for setting up a Wiki at gamepedia was approved and a couple of the contributors and myself are slowly buy steadily entering data. I personally would not had mind to shift over here but to be honest the design behind a blog will limit the progress of updating data constantly as compared to a Wiki where it is easier to track updated info and contributors can add data easily. Again my purpose is not to demoralize anyone, you guys have done a fantastic job and if you need any help from my end then I'm always here to help out. You can find the link to the Wiki below

What I propose is that let the Wiki grow for now and once we see that the content on the Wiki and on this Blog is the same then you can guys can think of switching over. Your Website right now is more updated and since you guys have put in a lot of time to keep it that way you can maintain it for now. Once the Wiki catches up to you then you guys can think of shifting over to the Wiki and thus the contributors team will grow. For those who are not aware of the Wiki page then visit the following link below
Gamepedia's layout is much easier to navigate (mostly), but it is not exactly how we want to showcase the materials. An example, for the "awakenings" page, clicking main page > image of hero, then to see the details, but the page design after that is just... confusing, stuff everywhere. Using our site's simple but detailed layout for "awakening quests" page is better, everything is listed nicely, except that we are lazy to update the heroes with their avatar icons.
Other than that, I would say that your site is better, with the more updated images and stuff. We only update based on what we saw in-game though (which explains the lower quality images from cropping).
Just a question, how do you guys know about the English names of the newer heroes which aren't released yet?

For now, we're just finishing the profiles of each hero and categories they belong to. You will see that we've even added the option to apply filters for heroes depending upon which class they belong to.
As for images and getting stuffs in advance, me and a couple of the contributors have downloaded both the DotArena China and DotArena Sea latest .apk and extracted the files to use the necessary data. The names for the upcoming heroes are also provided there.
Hi, We have pretty much covered Awakening and Hero profiles. We'll be shifting to items soon, if you guys are interested then you can help out with the remaining stuff.
hell am new to the game and i just left a guild to join another and i cant do guild raids. I waited 24 hours and still nothing. and i keep getting this message in chinese so i cant understand it any surgetions?
